Individualized Dressage Training Program at Viola Farm
The Training Program
I have studied classical dressage for over 25 yrs and was a hunter/jumper rider for 20 years prior. Personally, I have international dressage competition as my life goal and I move steadily towards the realization of this with my 8 yr old Dutch Gelding "Balanchine" who I started green broke two and half years ago and am now schooling Intermediare I.
The cornerstone of my program is not just practice --- but practice correctly. That is why I have been and continue to be a perpetual student of the discipline. Through the years and with the help of many great teachers, I have assembled a foundation of correct riding and am extremely enthusiastic to pass this system along to my students. I love to learn but I also LOVE to teach. It is incredibly rewarding for me to see my students grow together with their horses. I encourage my students to study specific riding techniques, practice what they have learned on their own between lessons and continue to test their knowledge and skills through showing.
I have dedicated my life to the pursuit of excellence with my horses and have an undying passion for the sport that I want to share with you. Come visit us at Viola Farm in Canby, Ore. www.violafarm.com
